Stephen Gaunt is the founder of Blue Sky Law and deals with Corporate and Commercial transactions.
His experience covers a wide range of transactional and commercial work, including mergers & acquisitions, management buy-outs, partnership and shareholder agreements, corporate restructuring, sponsorship deals, computer contracts, investment and financial transactions.
He has dealt with clients who have come from various business sectors and have ranged in size from the budding entrepreneurial start up to the multi-million pound company including, most notably the following deals
- Advised Betfred on its sponsorship agreement with multiple UK racecourses.
- Advised Betfred on its bid for the Tote.
- Advised on Betfred.com's purchase of Bucky Bingo and Bogoff Bingo.
- Advised Fred Done on his multi-million pound investment into Corpacq plc.
- Advised management on the purchase of Read Independent Financial Advisers from AWD Group plc
- Advised Betfred on its TurfTV settlement
- Advised Betfred on its deal with Inspired Gaming for fixed odds betting terminals in its UK shops and online virtual racing.
- Sponsorship deal making Betfred.com The World Snooker Championship Sponsor 2009-2012
- Sponsorship deals making Betfred the Official Betting and Gaming Partner of Wembley Stadium; and the Official Betting Partner of Manchester United Football Club in 2006.
In his spare time, Stephen likes to be active and enjoys Pilates, skiing, running, walking and swimming.
