Lee Jefcott - Partner

Lee works with both businesses and individuals dealing with the full range of employment law issues. He recognises that the burden of red tape and legislative requirements is an increasing concern of business. He provides practical assistance to businesses in keeping up to date and recognising issues that may escalate. He aims to resolve issues and disputes. Where this is not possible, he represents both Employers and Employees in Employment Tribunal proceedings.

Some examples of the things Lee does are:-

1. successfully negotiating an exit package for a senior executive leaving a large UK Bank
2. advising a manufacturing company on the HR aspects of closing a site
3. obtaining an injunction to prevent an ex-employee using a database which had been unlawfully taken
4. defending a national charity from claims of contructive dismissal and whistleblowing brought by a senior employee

Lee has recently been appointed as a part time lecturer at BPP Professional Education and regularly contributes to Employers Law and Personnel Today.

When Lee is not at work he can be found undertaking a number of hobbies including daydreaming about a career as a travel writer.
